Tom Murray has 25+ years of experience repairing and building instruments and is a full service luthier, studying under Kristen Williams and custom guitar maker Bernie Hamburger. He is a wealth of real-world knowledge and enjoys freely sharing this knowledge with his customers and his own students who are interested in repair.

Tom is also highly involved as a build mentor on two different robotics teams for high school and middle school students. He has a dry sense of humor, and you can usually find him standing at his work bench repairing instruments and eating his favorite candy. He specializes in upright bass repair, structural repairs and fabrication of parts that are no longer available.
