John received his Bachelors in Music Performance and Music Education degree from Michigan State University. He teaches general music in the Troy school district. John was a former member of the Ann Arbor, Lansing and West Michigan Symphony Orchestras.

Hobbies/Interests

John enjoys the outdoors, playing his guitar, reading a good book, and learning about food and languages of other cultures. He would one day love to live on a boat and sail around the world.
