Delani Creech

Cello

Troy – $30 per half hour

Delani is a recent graduate of Eastern Michigan University, holding a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Performance with a minor in Arts and Entertainment Management.  In her time at EMU, she studied primarily under Professor Deborah Pae, along with DSO cellist, Dr Jeremy Crosmer, during Pae's sabbatical year.  Delani performed in EMU's 43rd Undergraduate Symposium and was featured in a student recital during an accreditation visit from the National Association for Schools of Music.  She received multiple scholarships from the EMU School of Music and Dance, including the Zhiwen Situ Endowed Cello Scholarship for the 2023-24 school year.  Currently Delani does freelance performance work for events and co-runs the Independent Strings Program, an organization that teaches improvised music.  

Hobbies/Interests

Delani enjoys playing video games (The Sims, Minecraft, Stardew Valley), crafting, reading and hanging out with her dog, Daisy.
