Cello, Beginning-Middle School Violin & Viola
Troy & Waterford – $30 per half hour
Anna has a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from The University of Michigan in Music Education and Cello Performance, where she was a student of Jerome M. Jelinek. While at U-M, Anna was chosen to play for cellist, Yo-Yo Ma. Wishing to continue her growth as a cellist, she received a second Master of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University in Cello Performance, where she studied with Dr. Diane L. Winder. She is a retired string and vocal music instructor in the Royal Oak School District. She has a K-12 Teaching Certificate, and has taught many disciplines of music across all grade levels in the Royal Oak School District.
Anna is currently taking cello students of all levels – beginning to the college concerto level. She is also available to teach violin and viola at the beginning through middle school levels.
Hobbies/Interests
Anna enjoys reading, exercising, cooking and practicing cello, violin, viola and piano. She is especially passionate about teaching and performing.
