Michigan Emmy Award winning songwriter Michelle Chenard is a singer, songwriter and guitarist. A professional performing musician since high school, she has traveled and played around the state of Michigan at a variety of venues from local bars and restaurants, to theaters and festivals. She has also shared her music with fans throughout the United States and Europe. An experienced instructor, Michelle has worked with elementary and middle school students, as well as adults and special needs folks in songwriting, voice, guitar and performance. She incorporates proper voice placement, breathing, strengthening and stretching exercises and performance skills into her lessons.

Hobbies/Interests

In Michelle’s spare time, she is an avid reader, animal lover, yoga student, and loves to be out in nature.
