Trumpet

Troy – $30 per half hour

Emery is a 2016 graduate of Central Michigan University with a degree in Music and Broadcast and Cinematic Arts. He studied trumpet under Dr. Neil Mueller. While at CMU, he performed in a variety of ensembles including Wind Symphony, Orchestra, the Chippewa Marching Band and the ACM Brass Quintet. Emery also played trumpet at the International Trumpet Guild Conference with CMU’s Trumpet Ensemble, and placed third in the large ensemble division with CMU’s Trumpet

Since 2011, Emery has taught private lessons and been an instructor at several marching band camps, including Brandon, Port Huron Northern, Yale, Pewamo-Westphalia, Algonac, Birch Run, and Imlay City High Schools. He also works as a freelance musician, performing in pit orchestras for area musicals, as well as for weddings and church services.
