Blaire graduated from Wayne State with a Bachelor of Music in violin performance and a Bachelor of Arts in German

Blaire has been playing the violin since age 6 and graduated from Wayne State University in May 2016 where they studied under Hai-Xin Wu, the associate concertmaster of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. In their third year at Wayne State, Blaire became the concertmaster of the Wayne State Symphony Orchestra. In 2014, they won the university’s annual Concerto Competition and performed their solo with the orchestra twice. Blaire currently performs in the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra.

Blaire has performed around the world, most notably at Carnegie Hall in New York City. They have also performed in Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. In 2011, they attended the Starling-Delay Symposium on Violin Studies at Juilliard. Blaire has been teaching privately since 2012 and has performed at many weddings and events.

Books & Materials Needed

Music will be based on the individual student. All will be required to bring a spiral notebook and pencil to every lesson.
