Ben has been playing bassoon for a little over a decade now. He is currently studying bassoon performance at Oakland University under Jaquain Sloan. Other teachers have been David Pendock, and Michael Ma. He is currently the principal bassoonist of the Oakland Wind Symphony and also plays with the Oakland Symphony Orchestra. He was the former principal bassoonist of the Royal Oak Symphony. He does low reed sectionals and clinics at various highschools in the area and freelances with many groups in Michigan.

Hobbies/Interests

Ben loves to play video games. His current favorites are Overwatch and Super Smash Bros. He frequents the arcode and cosplays at conventions. And he absolutely loves going to watch the DSO almost everyt week.
